Castello di Strozzavolpe

CASTELLO DI STROZZAVOLPE

IGT
Toscana

Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it presents captivating aromas of jam, notes of vanilla and liquorice. The palate is marked by hints of ripe red fruits and sweet nuances of French oak. Pleasingly balsamic and long in the finish.

The label represents the Emperor Henry VII, who occupied the castle and used it as his base for the conquest of the Sienese countryside all the way up to the threshold of Porta Camollia.
